With my stock headlight I run the high beam during the day to better noticed.

With these brighter aftermarket lights, during the day do you guys still run with your high beam on? Or is it too bright then?

I went to these guys and bought a Hella Light. Make a world of difference, pretty cheap I think I paid around 40 for the kit. Keeps the OEM bulb or you can change that to if you want. That plastic in there is only going to reflect so much. Check them out and if you want to know what I put on my bike I will track down the # to the kit for you.

After I changed to this for a headlight I didn't feel the need to do anything with the driving lights.

I like the Silverstar bulb, nice bright, white light. Much brighter than the stock bulb. But I went through two of them and never got more than 10K miles before they died. Yes, I used the motorcycle specific part number. Went back to the stock bulb, over 60K miles on it and it's still going.
