Default Rush slip on 2.0

I need some feedback please, I will change my stock muffler to rush 2.0, I got 09 RKC my question is will I need to retune the bike for this or stay on the 1.75 baffles & is there a big difference on the sound

My understanding is anything above 1.75 you will need retune.

As with any forum you will get a lot of different answers, same for dealers. Here are a couple good rules of thumb:
If you only change the exhaust and not the intake, you should not need to remap.
If you change both you should remap or run a fuel management system.
2.0 Rush will rattle a FEW windows when the packing burns in.
2.25 Rush will rattle a LOT of windows when the packing burns in, so yeah, .25" makes a difference.
Either setup is pretty mellow with a little common sense, but can wake the dead if you hammer it in town between buildings.
Rush does make a 2.5" baffle, but not recommended for a stock motor, could cause a drop in low end torque.

if your just changing the mufflers and everything else is stock u dont need to anything. just ride it. its when u change the air cleaner to allow more air then u need to remap more makes it run leaner. hotter.
