Default What type of jacket do you ride with?

I'm wondering what type of jacket most ride with. That is; leather vs nylon, Armour vs no armour, etc.

Depends on the weather. If it's really cold, HD leather jacket, chaps, etc. If cool (55 deg or above), I use a nylon jacket. No armour.

i use only leather.SOME WITH ARMOR SOME NOT. IF YOU ARE ONLY GOING TO HAVE ONE SET OF RIDING LEATHERS I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU GO WITH HARLEYS FXRG LINE. WATERPROOF WITH ARMOR IN JACKET AND PANTS AND GUARANTEED FOR 5 YEARS. EXPENSIVE BUT WORTH IT.

Not quite time to pull it out yet, but I bought mine from a local leather shop. Good thick leather, fits well and keeps everything out. Black of course.

Thick heavy jasket below 45 and light harley leather above....Denim Jacket when it's just cool and if it's hot....long sleeve T-shirt or short sleeve depending on whether I am riding on and off the base or not. We need light colored long sleeves on the base....

Schott NYC leathers. Had it for 6+ years and counting. But when it is hot I usually wear a flannel instead of a jacket. This jakcet has been in several accidents and is still in great shape. Comfortable as can be, and none of that uncomfortable body armor.

Heavy Leather with liner and armor in cool weather. Mesh jacket with armor in warmer weather. Leather chaps always. When it gets hot I may wear shorts under my chaps but I like to keep leather or ballistic mesh between me and the pavement at all times.

Soon as Fox Creek makes my jacket I'll be Fox Creek leather from head to toe.

Over 70 degrees I use a Joe Rocket mesh jacket with armor. Below 70, my 30 year old Schott leather jacket (no armor) without the thermal liner. Below 60, zip in the liner. Then layer clothing according to temp and length of ride.

H-D Switchback Jacket.
From 50 degrees to 100 degrees it has multiple removable panels and a rain liner and removable armor.

Awesome Jacket!
