Default FLHTC Tour pak

Just a quick question but are the tour paks on the Classics still hard mounted or are they detachable now?

2010 hard mounted as well. The MOCO gets to much of a premium for the quick detach kit to give it away on a stocker.

+1 My thoughts exactly. Why "give" it to us when they know they can "sell" it to us!

I was going to buy a quick detach kit, but really got used to having the tour pack. It may not be the sportiest, but the easy access overrides the "sporty" need. JMHO

I have a 2010 EGC and was looking at the detachable kit. A lot of money and the best I can tell when it is off you have to look at those latches. For the few times I will use the tour pak I figure a couple of beer in the garage and do a change over in 30 min. or less. The rest of the time I just have the strut covers without the notches on.

I thought about it too, but I use it way too much to loose it.
