I'd like to know if you two are freshening up the top end for the hell of it, or because of motor issues. If the latter how many miles before the problems?

I guess you can say I am doing it for the hell of it.
But I am going 95", bumping compression and adding cams.

It will be a winter project, but I'll send a post upon completion.
Here's the plan;
cam, Andrews TW21
push rods, Andrews Chr-mly
pistons & rings, Wiseco K1717
EFI, PC lll
replace cam chain tensioner
Dyno-Tune

Here's a great article specifically about what you are asking about.

I did the same and my mileage increased.
All 95's are not the same,all depends on the build.

Why are you going with the wiseco's? Name? Those things are ridiculously expensive for a mild build and way overkill for a motor you are going to run a TW21 in. I'd buy the screamin eagles for much less. Any reason you need the expensive pushrods or do you just want them? I am all for buying good parts, but you can go a little overboard. For $2500, I'd expect something a little more.

If you say so. I have no idea what a PCIII costs, but everyone around here seems to like them and I know a dyno tune isn't cheap, but worth the money on your fuel injected bike.
