Ok so let me get this straight. Some of you guys feel that the vibration-less softail riders are on something less than a TRUE Harley...I don't think so. The 05 deluxe that I have is basically stock with the exception of a stage 1 kit and Vance and Hines Longshots. There's no mistaken that this sounds, runs, and looks like a Harley except for one thing...........it doesn't SHAKE! I guess if you need the shake to feel like your ridin a harley than so be it. All I was sayin was that I love the Ultra for long haulin, just wish it didn't shake so much at low speed and stop lights.

No they are saying the softails are girls bikes.

Just kidding. I own one of each.

Prefer the bagger. No high speed vibes. Tired of my hands going numb.

But it's a Harley! Your hands should go numb and the bike should vibrate at highway speeds.....otherwise it would be a Honda! Just Jokin...

But in the end, I still ride a vibrating HD King…its good physical therapy for my back.
Funny you should mention this, LOL. I have had ongoing back issues for the last year and a half. The only time my back doesn't hurt, is when I am riding, go figure. LOL I assume that it is because of the vibration, like all those vibrating back massage chairs.

They both gross the same but spinning that out-of-balance shaft on the "B" eats power so it nets less than the "A".

Hi all,

A little know fact about the balanced motor is that it was originally developed with the hopes of attracting little old ladies to the Harley line up. As far as a little vibration at a light, so what there is a reason that some of thetouring bikes are called "Road Kings" Anyway I'm OK without the extra Chain, tensioners, sprockets, balance shafts . . . . . .
