Rented street glide while limited is in the shop...
Rented a beautiful flhx while my limited was in the shop today.....Holy cow....I pulled out of the dealer and hit the interstate on the way home and I felt like I was back on my fatboy without a windshield.....there is NO wind protection.....I'm glad I had a 9 inch LRS Ultra flip up...at home in the garage....I put it on and it's much better.......there is still more buffeting than I have on the limited....I guess the fairing wind deflectors do work.....also the ride is quite a bit harsher than the limited.....I live on a rough paved road and I could tell a pretty good difference.......
I'll be glad to get my bike back......It's in the shop going back to the se255 cams.....

here is the bike with the LRS Ultra installed....highly recommend street glide owners consider this upgrade....

How're they gonna know?....three screws...new shield.....three screws old shield back on before I take it back in........it's pretty much useless to me with that little strip of plastic they call a windshield......seriously...I'm not doing anything shady....I was out at lunch checking on my bike and told them I did it....they didn't care.....
