I fixed mine. I rode it 200 miles yesturday with no rattles. I didn't have to buy a power comander, A big sucker or pipes. Just a couple quarts of oil and spend a hour working.

I have been talking with a lawyer about it.
as explained to me.
You file the complaint under your states version of the lemon law.
They are all basically the same.
In mine any automotive vehicle and a motorcycle is one.
in dealers shop three or more times for the SAME complaint in a year.
If you win your suit Hd can of course appeal. so that can drag out.
Let's assume you win and they don't appeal.
Three basic remedies
1. Fix the bike right immediately
2. give you a new bike (they get your old one)
3. buy yours back in the stock configuration for the cost of the entire loan.
That's our states interpretation.
Your chances of winning on your own ????
but if you ban together with 10 or more, same bike(year make model) and SAME issue.
Much better.

Dealers are in a bind either way.the MOCO needs to take the brunt of this not the dealers.Unfortunately the dealer takes the lose in the end.Looses business from angry buyers, sales fall off,and lemon laws goes against them.

RE: 07 tranny probs?
didn't mention it stated what our law says about it.
The law is there for you to use. If you don't then oh well it's on you.
The main reason I don't have an 07
is after test riding one I would practically never see 6th gear here,
Bigger and newer isn't always better.
two test rides in different areas different dealers I got to 6th one time on the
interstate, but most of my riding is mountain two lane roads and gravel roads.
So will stay with the 5 speed

RE: 07 tranny probs?
OK so I'm on page 18 of a 9 month old thread. My 07 RKC is now 2 months old and has 1750 miles on it, NO PROBLEMS TO REPORT. No weird noises, clunks, rattles...nothing. Now I'll be the first to tell everyone I think 6th is to tall, in fact the entire ratio from 4-6th is to tall. Maybe Harley did something after the first batch, I don't know. Yea if I pull in the clutch and coast from 12 mph in 1st, sure it whines. If I hit 6th at 60, yea the primary sounds like it's going to come apart. Going down the freeway at 68 mph in 5th, I've put my head right down to the tank, windshield is blocking all wind and noise, I hear nothing but a purring 96.I couldjust be deaf, or I got lucky, or this is only my second Harley (fist one was a Sporty) andI don't know any better. Going on a trip in May through Idaho where they have a 75 mph speed limit. Cant' wait to get over there and run 80 without seriously looking for John...Law. Happy 07 owner.

So what "exactly" does "if you win your suit" mean if you aren't mentioning a lawsuit? Especially since it was mentioned right after " I talked with a lawyer about it".

RE: 07 tranny probs?
I own an 07 FLHT and havent heard anything strange from the primary under normal riding. The other day I was stuck in a traffic jam on I-30 in stop and go traffic and all of a sudden I thought I broke my primary chain or something, this damn weird metallic whirring, whining noise Ive never heard before. I was just crawling along anyway so I restomped it into1st and everything was fine after that, I guess it just popped out of first or I screwed up and it wasnt fully engaged. No problems since then. Re the 6 speed, I think its great cruising along at 75 mph doing 2500 rpms! This is my fourth big twin, my first bagger, and is the best since my 93 FXR.
