Just want to jump in here for a minute.I've had 3 harleys and they all had some sort of "noise".These things aren't farm tractors ,nor are they diesals, keep the "r"s up on them and they run like a top.My '07 fxstc has the 5th gear whine, but it goes away at higher rpm's,the "rocks in a can"is the same deal.Stop short shifting and ride it like you stole it.I'm not saying pound it ,or run on the redline, just use it like you should.when was the last time you heard someone lug a porsche engine?I can't even imagine what that would sound like?Years ago(50's,60's 70's) you could lug the Pan's,Shovel's whatever, but now we have a whole new animal here!Drive it dammit!!!!! and quit babying it and can we move on to something else to bitch about, this is getting old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10-4 good buddy, thats what all us guys who attended the OLD SCHOOL before old school was kool do. LOL

Wind that bitch out and feel the power! I have to let off mine or she pops the rev limiter before Im ready to shift sometimes, going to buy the new rpm reset software from dynojet soon. Mine runs hard, will cruise 110 in 5th at not even close to redline, thats too fast, do not try this at home, performed by profesional on open interstate.
