Hampton Beach, NH for a weekend?
Hey folks,
Going up to Hampton Beach, NH in a couple of weeks, never been. Too many hotels, motels to choose from so I thought I'd ask the friends here for a some suggestions. Looking for upscale, ocean front/view for a night. Heated pool might be nice too.
Thanks,
Joe

you ain't going to find that anywhere near Hampton Beach!
Find someplace away from the beach to stay, then ride down to Hampton for the day, or night.
Check the Hampton Beach Casino to see if there are any good bands playing, or Blue Water over in Salisbury Beach MA.
After Labor Day the crowds might die down, but if not be prepared to sit in traffic. Hampton does have a local noise ordinance, but the cops are not azzholes about it, don't be an idiot, and they won't bother you. Yea there are a lot of cops over there on a weekend night, but I have never had a problem with them.
There is Motorcycle Parking just past the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on the right. Parking on the beach is $1.75/hr, payable by cash or CC at a kiosk, stick the receipt somewhere it can be seen
BTW Check out Wally's Pub, biker/biker friendly restaurant on the road that runs parallel to the Boulevard.
You could find a nice place over near Manchester, then it's a nice ride across 101 to Hampton Beach, or if it isn't a beach day you could go North on 93 into the White Mountains, the leaves should be starting to turn soon, or West out towards Keene and Vermont. Don't rule out a ride up the seacost via U.S. Rt 1 up to Maine, stopping in Portsmouth, Kittery, Old Orchard Beach, and up into Portland.
But as for quality high end or even 3 star hotels over there... NFW!

I've been there it's very nice and relaxing there.... But, try not to book a room on a holiday weekend.... To much trouble finding a place last year during labor day weekend so we ended up getting a hotel room somewhere else about 30 minutes away on route 1 for a night and it was not cheap....
