Seems to be running hot after my 103 build. Was considering installing an oil cooler. Any feed back do they work, how difficult is install, which one us best.
Thanks
I installed a jagg cooler on my sg. Easy install very quality product, they work while the bike is moving. If ur sitting they will cool the oil once the bike starts
Moving. I think it was well worth it as far as my bike is concerned. Any way to help with the heat is good in my book.
I just put the ultra cool on a couple of weeks ago. Install is straight forward. The only snag I hit was where to put the sensor that cuts the fan on and off. Already had sensor for oil temp gauge and did not want to lose it. What I ended up doing was wiring the fan to my acc switch. That way if temps start climbing or I am coming into some traffic I turn the fan on and off as needed. To be honest with you, since the install I have only needed the fan a couple of times as the cooler itself seems to do a good job.
I looked all over Dr V Twin site and could not find it. I am sure its just me .
