Default Magnum Cables Color Question

Looking at getting their cables to complete my new bar/accessories install.

I'm trying to get a handle on the color difference between the Polished Stainless and the Sterling Chromite II. I know their site says the latter looks the closet to chrome, but they look awful white to me.

I'm wondering if the Polished Stainless would be a better match for my pewter pearl RKC.

Any opinions or does anyone have photos of either cables installed on their bike?

Thanks!

I originally used Sterling Chromite II. Never again. They basically look whiter. That wasnt the issue though. From my personal experience, they are not as well built as the Diamondback or Barnett cables. Some people may love them, I don't.

By Diamondback, do you mean the Harley cables?

Thanks, I was just about to ask about the quality of these cables.

Can you share the problems you had? Seems like a number of people love these things and many of the site sponsors carry them. Just curious.

Diamondback are the HD ones. I don't know who makes them though, for all I know hell they could be Sterling Chromite II's. Sterling II, here is the problem I had. 1. Clutch cable. I don't know why, but we couldnt get the clutch adjusted properly. Changed to a Diamondback, first shot, clutch was working right. 2. Idle cable won't seat in the switchhousing. 3. Front brake line on the right side leaks. Lots of guys use them with no problem. I just had a bad experience with mine, so I personally won't buy any more of them.

I have the Sterling Chromite II and have no problems. Fit was perfect. They seem well made. We'll see in a couple of years. I think they look great. But opinions are like... you know.

Do they look like chrome or are they more white in appearance?

They are more white than stainless. Not even close to chrome, but they still look good.
