Usually a good idea when problems start after you have changed something is to check what you changed. Do the wheels spin freely, is it hard to push the bike around?

Also pull the spark plugs and check them for an indication of the bike running too lean.
Could be various causes, but I can't think of any related to wheels.

bike is a little harder to push around but i thought that would be normal also had bike on lift when washing wheels were clear but not spining as freely as stock thought it was difference in size.

Did you also change the brake pads at the same time? Sometimes these can be a bit snug and drag a bit for a while after changing them. Mine did this after the last replacement this past spring. If they're dragging too much I would wear them down a bit by hand. A good method is to scrape them against the concrete in your driveway until they fit properly. This sounds crude but it works.

Also, make sure the wheel spacers are in correctly. The stalling you described sounds like typical '07 idle problems, and this is discussed in the thread Neweb posted. This is probably unrelated to your possible wheel-dragging problem.
