For less than the price of labor, you could buy a torque wrench, and know it was done to spec.

Red face Horn Cover Replacement

BMOREBHOY I got the instructions off of the HD Website parts.
Guys I know Im feeling a flaming coming!! On the forum I meanYeah I should have read the instructions carefully and I quote "Do not overighten horn cover nut. Over tightening may result in permanent damage to the horn". Also " A muffled sounding horn that is mounted to a vehicele may indicate permanent damage to the horn by over tightening the horn cover nut(figure 1 item 1) Attempt to adjust nut torque. Replace horn if necessary". So, I should have bought a torque wrench instead of a horn cover Do ya think a torque wrench comes with easier to understand instructions? LOL I need torque wrench lessons! Anyone available a tutor?
Thanks BV
