Hay guys I would like a little help with my radio setup I picked up my 89 tour glide back in April but i did not have any headsets to try out that part of the radio/cb. I just picked up a pair of headsets that i know are good, however when I plug them in and switch to headset i get nothing also I am able to transmit but have no audio from the mike. Any help would be nice, I dont use it unless im with a group witch is not often but would be nice at those rare times

 

You may have a headset that is not model year compatible with your '89. I picked up a hand microphone that I know was working on the bike it came off of but it would not work on my '03 Ultra Classic. I don't think all of the microphone and headset components are all wired the same.

 

I did check that out the 89 and 90 are the same stuff should have worked but thanks for the input
