Default painted inner fairing and mirrors

Good day everyone. Well, I finally removed my inner fairing on my '10 Street Glide and I am dropping it off at the paint shop tomorrow but have one question: shuold I paint the mirrors? I would like to, but the way they are made with the non-removable swivel base everytime I adjust the mirror there will be some black exposed. What has everyone else done? Thanks in advance

My painter suggested painting the mirrors as well. I thought about it but for the reason you mention about the ball being exposed, I opted for the Harley chrome covers. It was just as well, after he got done painting the fairing he wouldn't have had enough paint to do the mirrors anyway.

I was thinking about getting the inner fairing painted as well. Havn't priced it yet, just wondering what the price range on that is. Thanks.

I'd have the inner & mirrors painted to match - better flow. I plan to paint mine over our winter bike hibernation here in NE. Lotta work, but sure looks good then done...

Because of the swivel, you can't paint all of it. Mine were masked and painted; the swivel area and base were masked. If I did it again, I wouldn't mask the base.

Haven't tried that guy - but that's what I paid, I think. Guy in Jacksonville. And he removed and installed for me. I thought that was a good deal.
