Sweet! Good for you! It's fun working on the bike yourself isn't it.

Keep an eye out for oil leakage from the rear of the big sucker base. I couldn't understand why I was getting oil on the pipes. Though it was from the AC. In the sun light I saw it was leaking between the throttle body mount and cylinder head. When you install the big sucker there is no gasket between the TB mounting bracket and the cylinder head. Oil was leaking out of this joint and blowing back on the pipes. I bought some gasket material and made a small gasket to go between the TB bracket and the cyliner heads. Haven't tried it yet but it has to a lot better then no gasket at all. Stupid way for Ness to make this kit w/o a gasket IMHO.

Good Job, FSoul - This is a great place to get the 'right' knowledge to work on these kind of things, and to share what you've learned.

I do have to commiserate on the Big Sucker.. As a mfg engineer I can complain, with authority, about how poorly these things are made. That's the problem with buying from a catalog; I won't lay out cash for AN anything again. It works but wont be a permanent solution for me.
