Hi Gang,

Looking for a replacement tank console for my Ultra.

I DON'T use the CB/intercom hook-up, so I don't want one with that ugly plug on it.

Does anyone have pics of an all chrome replacement ?

Please post a pic and what brand/manufacterer it came from.

Or, if you know any cool sites on the net that have them.

The one on my bike is 9 kinds of UGLY !!

 

The Street Glide consoles look good and they are bolt on.

 

x2 on the Street glide consoles. They are slightly longer and supposedly fit nicely with the shorter road king/street glide seats.

Me personally, I removed my whole console tonight, trying to figure out how I'm going to replace the whole thing with a leather cover...kinda like some of the old school tanks. Not sure how I'm going to do it, but a friend of mine has done some business with an old school leather guy that I'm confident could make it happen if it's possible. Not looking forward to what he wants to charge...that could get ugly.

 

If you take your console off the tank you should find you can remove the intercom hump and replace it with any number of fill-in panels. I have plain black on mine. You don't need to change the whole console.

I have both old and new consoles and they are not interchangeable, so an 08 or later will not fit your bike.

 

Klockwerks dash with custom gas cap. It also comes in primed so you can paint it to match your bike. I am partial to chrome.
