Ultra Boom bagger kit

Remove the tourpak as it will be easier to drill the bottom for mounting holes. Mount the amp a little further back than you would think, that way there is still room for the metal tang bracket at the back of the seat which screws into the fender.
ALL the connectors are color coded and literally plug into the existing system. In the stock set up there are wires that come out of the radio and connect onto wires running to the speakers. Just unplug those connectors and hook the wires from the amp into them.
The amp needs to be powered from switched 12v, that way it is off when the bike if off.
My biggest complaint is that the harness is so THICK that I had to squeeze it all along under the seat and frame and that lead to other problems, like pinched and crushed wires under the tank.
But like I said in mye earlier post, that was for the set up a few years ago. It may be different now.

Yup, Went by the dealer yesterday and got the scoop. The 2 barrel connecters go into a harness replacing the 2 white blank plugs. y/v position 4 y/o position five. I don't have the name of the harness but will attempt a photo soonest. I still need to go back to the dealer and have them upgrade the software. Tech was very helpful. even without the upgrade to the software the sound is tremendous.

These may be helpful; they're the installation instructions for the Advanced Audio High-output Sound System, p/n 76418-06A:

It (probably) uses the same amp/harness as the Boom Bass Kit.

Hashash, did the instructions help???
I thought you were pulling our HDF legs when you said you bought a $750 HD accessory (that's list price for the amp/bass booster kit) that had NO instructions. But I stopped by my local dealer and ask them to print out the instructions for that kit and, lo and behold, there are no instructions for the kit!!!! Unbelieveable.
Anyway, hope you have your system up and running.
