Default What do you think of this deal?

Trade in 2007 Street Glide (Black Pearl with Security and upgraded wheels) with 16,000 miles on brand new 2010 Ultra with ABS/Security (black and silver two-tone paint).

Trade in -- $14,000
Ultra -- $23,140 (includes everything but tax and title)

Sounds okay, but not great to me. What do you think?

That would be a good deal on a BLACK 2011 Ultra Limited

Trade in value of your 07 in KY is showing $11750
Retail for a 2010 Ultra is $20960

Looks like they are just swapping the numbers around to make it look good. Now if they sell you the ultra for the 20960 and give you 14k for your 07, then it would be pretty good.

I'm showing $13,800 as a clean trade here in Illinois.
I'd ask for the $14,000 for trade and MSRP on the Ultra. I wouldn't pay for the Freight and Prep.

I just paid 23,145 for my 11 Road Glide Ultra, they gave me 10k for my 06 Superglide 35th Anniversary. They had a 10 Limited for 23,750 I think.

I JUST traded my 08 flht on a 2010 ultra. the ultra is brand new and black in color. no abs. I got $12,800 for the flht and payed $19,995 for the 2010. I payed the balance of the taxes. taxes where not much because of the trade. No set up, freight or BS added to that price.

just to give you an idea.

I think I would keep shopping at a couple other dealers. I think you are at least $1k off fom being a "good" deal.

Thanks everyone. Considering the bike has ABS/Security/Paint upgrade, I don't know if the MSRP is that far off, but giving that it is a 2010 and they're trying to get them off the floor, I thought he would go down some more.
