My Harley started making a noise & lost power
1999 Ultra w/95 ci. I have SE adjustable push rods & I think 1 or more had the jam nut come loose. I was cranking about 80-90 mph & started to hear a loud ticking noise & then no power, so I coasted to a stop. It starts, but throttle has to be about half way & it feels like it is running on 1 cyl. Got off & went to the exhaust (throttle locked to keep it running) right bank was hot & you could feel the exhaust pop against your hand. Left side almost 0 exhaust & cold. Will tear down this weekend & see what it is. Supposed to be a Veterans run to Cripple Creek this weekend I wanted to make, not gonna happen, unless my luck changes. Thanks for letting me rant.

Old tensioner system. I replaced the tensioners & went with Timken bearings about a year ago, maybe two years. Getting old sucks, bad case of CRS. Did not have the $$ to go gear drive at the time. The noise sounded more like rocker area, but will pull the cam chest open if I don't find anything in the push rod area. It went 50000 miles on the original tensioners, but I have 81000 on it now. They were in great shape, very minor wear at the time, but the new could have gone bad. I hope not. Thanks
