If you have the time, you can take the manual apart, put each page into a clear plastic sheet and keep in a 3 ring binder. It is much easier to clean off the plastic then the paper and easier to turn the page with dirty hands. Also the binder will fold flat for easy reading when your hands are full.

The HD manuals are surprisingly good. A very worthwhile investment and also great reading when you having nothing else to do too.

Here's a 'Manual Tip' I learned here on the forum:
Take them to an office supply store and have them spiral bound. It's cheap ($5-7). The manual will lay flat and will stay at the page you want.

Yeeeeaaaaah, they're good reading alright .......but still ......... no Victoria's Secret catalog .......

BTW: If trying to order up the factory manual or parts catalog, and you're having a problem finding the one for you bike, be sure to understand that they cover many models and the easiest place the get the exact part number is off the HD USA site ........ then going to a place like Barnett's to actually buy it at a discount.
