On the way to Sturgis, one of the speakers in the headset that came with my 09 Ultra went out. Stopped at a couple of dealerships and while they would warranty it because it came with the bike and wasn't "an accessory" they didn't have any. So.. I put up with one crackly speaker for the week. When I got back to my local dealership, they replaced the original headset # 77147-98 with the newer style BOOM Audio Headset # 77117-10. WOW !... what a difference. These things are awesome ! The speakers are thinner and don't rub my ears and sound fantastic. Way better. If your bike is under warranty and the original headset goes out, do yourself a favor and take it in for a warranty repair. See if your dealer will replace it with the newer style as mine did.
