104 Octane Boost

Thanks http://www.daytona-twintec.com/TCFI.html
....I've had a DFO on my Twin Cam for 5 years. It did exactly what I wanted it to do...Enrich the fuel circuit after I made cam and exhaust changes to my Stage I bike. I get good gas mileage, great throttle response, and have zero pinging. The unit cost me 99 bucks, took about 15 minutes to install, and a little time tune it with nothing more than a screwdriver....My bike runs pretty darn good and has never been on a dyno.
WOW this is NICE: http://www.daytona-twintec.com/TCFI.html
Thanks for the info. Still the kid comes first...

I used that product, and another called 106 Octane Boost, in my 75 Triumph t150, which required 100 octane gas. It worked, but as previously mentioned, left quite a deposit. In my case, not only on the plugs, but the entire upper cylinder and head was coated in an orangish/yellow fuzz.
I went to an overthick headgasket, and now run pump gas at 93 Octane (ethanol) with good, not perfect, results.

the highest octane we can get at the pump here in oklahoma is 91. my streetglide with the 103" and 10.75 to 1 compression ratio will not ping at all. i've even used 89, and once when in a pinch used 87 octane, to avoid walking. i just didn't ride it near as hard as when i have the good stuff in the tank. i'm thinking that if it's pinging, it's likely a pre ignition problem. a good tuning device that's dialed in on the dyno by someone who has a lot of experience would be my suggestion for the cure to your pinging.
