No expert here, just experience. took a spill years ago on My 67 Shovel and bent the kickstarter. Took it off and went to an old time machine shop to have in straightened. The guy said no problem and started to straighten it on a press. Not knowing too much I asked Him why He does'nt heat it too make the job easier. He grumbled "was it hot when You bent it" and proceded to tell that it would retain it's strength more if straighted cold. I guess the same applies when bending metal.

The RK has a serious lean angle to begin with and lowering 1" didnt seem to change a whole lot on mine, does 2" make it that erect that you need a diff jiffy just out of curiousity?

I bent the jiffy on my lowered fxr in 1990, just looked, it hasn't fallen over yet...
It's the easy solution.
Put the bike on the jiffy, with the jiffy resting on a steel plate, warm up the jiffy about 2" from the bend at the bottom, and when it is red hot, lean the bike over to desired angle
Don't do this on exposed concrete, the heat can vaporise moisture and cause the concrete to pop, maybe hitting you in the face
