If you'll look around online you can find a lot better price. I bought a 755t earlier this summer for 169 I think. It has a 4.3" screen. That one will do whatever you want to do with it most likely but I'm sure you can get it cheaper.

You are thinking of the Garmin Zumo 550, not the nuvi.

Precisely what I'm using (with a RAM mount on the bar). Very satisfied with it - Only wish they'd go QWERTY...

For now I haven't been hooked by the GPS bug.
The way I look at it.....I know where I've been, I know where I am going.
I know when I left.....but I don't know when I'm getting there.
So, 3 out of 4 ain't bad.

Another year or two and those 7" GPS models will start getting affordable. Can't wait to mount one of those mommas (so to speak)...

I've always liked PriceScan or PriceWatch to search for the best prices on electronics.

Love my Zumo 550 - wouldn't go anywhere without it. Great directions and LOADED a memory card with 100's of tunes.
