Default need help with wiring issue

installed apes on my 09 road king. rode a thousand miles, and now have no blinkers,cruise, or brake light. checked fuses and all connections, still doesnt work.where do i go from here, and am i missing something?

Back Track Again ! I would think it is related to the extended harness.Always start at the source of power and work your way through the circuit.Good Luck!

the cruise/brake light issue could be caused by the brake switch in the right switch housing not seating properly. Are the brake lights always on?

thanks, gonna go thru it again. weird combination of things wrong tho. wonder if all these that have gone out is all on the same plug? any idea anyone?

tail light is on, brake light doesnt light up at all

Look for a pinched wire or two in the switch housings. It is very easy to pinch a wire between the housing and handlebars. Been there and done that.

Make sure that two of the wires are not flip flopped around,one going to the others spot etc.

Probably has to do with the brake light wiring. Cruise disconnect and blinkers are aligned with the brake light. Could be as simple as the brake light bulb.

wel thought i had it fixed. changed out fuses even though they looked fine. bingo,everything worked! assembled everything back together , test ride, doesnt work again! pissed off! got a short somewhere i think

Good luck I am in the process of putting the 12 1/2 inch apes on my bike...fingers crossed I dont run into anymore problems!
