Found an interesting article.
Not sure if it's old news or not, but I thought I'd share the link:

Gear drive cams will help the situation. You can get high speed wobble just from the wind. If you read the hd owners manual it cautions to stay at or below 85mph on flh bikes. I have been in a high speed wobble twice. It is scary. With ULTRAS ESPECIALLY, STAY UNDER 85. THE TOP AND LOWER FAIRINGS CAN DO THINGS WITH WIND. dONT TRY TO KEEP UP WITH ROAD KINGS AT 90 PLUS. THEY ARE NOT NEARLY AS EFFECTED AS ULTRAS BY THE WIND.

High speed wobble is bogus, if the officer was washed out by backwash from a 18 wheeler thats sad but to blame it on hd is crap, I say this because anybody who has ever visited the harley open house at the taladega testing grounds at taledaga int. speedway in alabama has witnessed harley test riders runing the track at over a hundred mph and taking their hands off the handle bars and slapping one bar very hard to induce the wobble. wow this was a site to see! the front end would shake from side to side and then settle back down and he would slap it again, we were all amazed at the things they did to test these bikes before they were sent to production. Anyone who can should go to this H.O.G. event held each year.

What? Stay under 85mph. Sure wish they would have put that on one of those ugly warning stickers it took hours to get off. I've had mine over 100 two or three times already just goofin around on open roads. I've never experianced the wobble yet on my Harley. I did get one going on my 1984 V65Magna that took some years off of my life though.
