Default 2005 road king frame question

does anyone know from what year to what year hd used the same frame as my 2005 road king? and i'm assuming the rk and electra glides have the same exact frame?

maybe this will answer and clear things up on "fittment" when trying to figure out which year hd sidecars will work for my bike... thanks!

Stop by the parts counter of your local HD store and ask to look at the Touring Model parts books by model year and take notes on the frame p/n's. The p/n suffix on the '04, -02A, means the part was introduced in 2002. However, many of HD's accessories that mount to the frame (detachable racks, seats, etc.) are expressed as '97-07 or similar; so, there were changes pre-'02 that don't affect fitment of some accessories.

Information on HDF is usually reliable, but when considering the purchase of a sidecar, I'd verify fitment using HD's Touring Model parts books to be certain.
