Default Gurgling Slip Ons

My new Rinehart slip ons make a gurgling noise when I let off the gas, or when I shift. It's not a backfire, just a gurgling noise. Dealer did the install, but I did notice he re-used my old exhaust clamps. Is this gurgling sound normal?

I dont know what bike you are riding, but I heard that the bikes with the cat on them are having issues like you describe.

My Rushs' from fuel moto do that, I don't mind, I got used to it. But it may not be the same sound as yours though..

The free flowing mufflers will make that sound it is normal so long as it is not popping.

It's due to being slightly lean mixture wise. Not enough to hurt anything, but enough to cause the gurgle (and don't be surprised of you do get an occasional pop). I have the same muffs on my 07 RK, same result. My plan is to add a stage 1 air filter and a tuner (SEPRT) and have it dyno tuned which should take care of it as well as improving power.
