Help...black to sedona orange

I'm coming off of a black bike and swore the next bike would not be....all a personal choice.


To me black shows every little swirl and mark but when clean looks awesome. Trouble is keeping it like that.

I love the orange, something really different and eye popping hence I ordered my Road King in the Sedona Orange.

Bottom line is you have to be comfortable with it and if you are you just got a 400 dollar upgrade

Fatbob I was in the same position you are in. Last Thursday i went to the Dealer to check out a black 2011 SG. Well when I got there they also had a Sedona Orange SG. When I saw it out in the sunlight it was game over. I went back the next morning and signed the paperwork on it!

The used SG I just bought is black pearl. But if I had a choice of any color, that Sedona orange would be IT.......

I think you may like the orange for a while and then wish you had got the black.

Only problem I see with the Sedona Orange is that everybody and his brother will be buying them. Harley put that color on just about every model thay offer. I loved the color and still do...however, why not limit it to a couple of models? Talk about being like everybody else!!!

Well the OP is caught between Sedona or Black. Everybody has a Black Harley.

I agree that you need to get what you like. Myself I would never get a black bike or truck again.

They look nice when clean and new but show dust and swirls too easy. Orange is my favorite color so I'd jump on the orange especially since they are giving it to you at the same price.

I bought a vivid black 2010 Road Glide all that was around 50 mile radius was 2010 black ones and red ones. I did the bank thing, signed paper blah blah blah the next day went to get my bike, signed more papers then they were rolling it out of the dealer in rolls a Sedona Orange one. I nearly **** myself I wanted to trade my bike that I just bough 3 minutes before for that one. It is soooooo good looking to me.

What are you happy with if you want black get black all the dealer did was get one of his wish list bikes in he is now trying to get you to buy.
