No wonder they get so freakin hot after seeing the cat. I'm here in California & I don't think it will be to long before they start doing some kind of checking on these new bikes. I'm just waiting.

Default header pipe

Thanks for all the replies. I should have done a little more research before buying my new pipes. Had I known about the header pipe, I might have decided to just leave it all stock. I had an 09 Electra Glide, and had no issues with the header pipe. Apparently this was changed on the 2010 models. I kinda hate to mess with the header pipe. My Road King currently runs perfect. No heat issues, no hesitations, ect. The stock exhaust on these newer Harleys sound better than they used to.
