I know every body has different likes/dislikes, I paid dealer 1200.00 for Stage one upgrade with Rush 2.0 slip-ons and was very dissapointed with the lack of sound, I was told that was all of the sound I would get for what I paid. Do I have any options from here without wasting what I have already spent? Im goin thru middle age crisis and want to be heard!!!!

 

The 2010 bikes have the catalytic converter in the head pipe. You will need to get rid of it one way or another. Do a search, this has been covered many times and you will find lots of options already discussed.

you should be angry with your dealer for ripping you off for $1200.00....

what exactly did they charge you for??
the Rush mufflers only cost about $225.00 shipped..,, and they are LOUD.

 

I gotta ask the question...what was included in the stg 1 upgrade? An ECM download, mufflers, and...labor? The labor couldn't have been more than 1.5 hours max.

I paid for Custom mapping, Se Stage one AC, Rush slip-ons 2.0 and 2 dynos, One when the motor was warm and one when the motor was cold after sitting all night.

 

Custom mapping? Did they dyno tune the bike?

 

try some 2 1/2" baffles in it, they're the loudest, the first set of rush slash-up slip ons I bought was 278.00 about 3 years ago. about a year ago I paid 338.00 for them. I'd like to know where to get them for 225.00.

 

Yes, it was remapped and dyno,ed and it runs great. I wanted the 2.5 baffles but was told they are backordered 2 to 3 weeks out. Dealer said they had the 2"s in stock and that there was only a 6 decibal difference between the 2"s and the 2.5. Dealer said you couldnt hear 6 decibals, Any truth to this?
