I got rush on my 09 rkc. It took about 3000 miles before they came to life. Nice mellow sounds while cruising. Great sound when I twist it. about a 7 or 8.

$1200 doesn't sound excessive to me for mufflers, A/C, tuner, labor, and twice on the dyno. Sounds pretty reasonable.

Get rid of the factory's 2-1-2 equipped with catalytic converter and purchase FuelMoto's 2-1-2 headpipe then you're good to go.

You should be pissed. I am almost positive you could have got a complete power package from fuelmoto for that price. dealer will get you everytime.

Do I have any options from here without wasting what I have already spent? Im goin' thru middle age crisis and want to be heard!!!!
Where is this 'stealer'? I ain't going anywhere near it!!!
A complete FuelMoto 'Stage 1' w/ a 2-1-2 headpipe (installed by yourself) would be a hell of a lot less...and probably a better performer to boot!!

I contacted Rush regarding slip-ons for my 2010, and they said to go with the 2.5's as the Cat converters will muffle the sound too much. If you change the head pipe I wonder if you would need to do a remap or another dyno. Any thoughts on this from the folks here who know about this stuff?

Believe me, you can hear the difference in 6 Decibals of sound. If you don't want to spend a lot more money, I would call Jamie at Fuelmoto. He sells Rush. He could probably suggest a baffle or some way to get more sound. I'm running his Dyna Tuned Jackpots with standard baffles on my 2010 RK. I like the sound.

Do you FuelMoto worshipers get a dyno tune with your package as well?

Default Dyna Tuned Jackpots with standard baffles on my 2010 RK.

Hey Ron, I see in your sig you don't say anything about a tuner (PCv or whatnot) are you using something different or not , and are you running good ??n Thanks Jim

At that price and being the dealer dyno'd it you should have paid for and recieved a SEPST. Did they give you the VCI, the box? If not I would study my receipt and ask them how they dyno'd it. That sounds high but for the slip ons, breather, 2 dyno runs, and a SEPST if you got one, that is in line when you had labor at the dealers inflated rate. They certainly didn't give you any kind of deal.
