Unhappy My Ignition Fuse Keeps Blowing Out

Help! I have an 09 RKwith a PC-V, Reinhart Slip-Ons and the SE Heavy Breahter. Have put about 1K miles on since upgrades and never had a lick a trouble. Bike only has 2300 total miles on it. Army recently moved me from St. Louis to New Orleans and now my iginition fuse has blown out 3 times in less than 180 miles of riding. Took it to the local HD shop and they say it is my PC-V causing the issues. They claim PC-V does not hold up to the horrible roads in the NOLA area. They won't even sell the PC-V. They recommend switching to the SERT because unlike the PC-V the SERT burns the settings into the ECM. Anyone else ever heard of this issues or had similar problems? Currently riding around with a bunch of spare fuses in my saddlebags. Appreciate your responses.

I see this is kind of an old post but I too have a PC-V on my 09 Fat Bob. I never had any problems with the ignition fuse until I disconnected the battery and reconnected it here in Germany....Now the damn fuse keeps blowing out.
