never lived in a hotel, but spent many nights in one during many rallies. I never had a problem using there hose. My 2 cents, ask the manger and return it the way u found it, shouldn't be a problem.

Be Safe JIM

I use a swiffer duster to get any grit that might scratch off and use a Microfiber Towel and the Ice detailer or wax. Good Stuff! You can thank me later. Have a safe trip!
Excellent suggestion!!! And Maimas, thanks for the laugh!!!! pinballparker, thanks and I will have to learn the area.

Ask at the front desk. They usually have old towels and maybe a bucket they will let you use. I carry a few microfiber cloths, plexus and some "top secret" detailing spray.

Sounds like a Shriner convention story. "Coy, how did you get that motorcicle up on the high dive?"

I've always carried small containers of cleaning materials with rags. It usually not hard to find someone that will allow you to use their garden hose to wash your bike. A few of the motels that I've stayed at have a place I can wash the bike. One in particular, Texline Texas motel even offered the use of rags.

What I'm most concerned with on long rides is all of the bug juice.

I've been using Bug Slide and microfiber - but I'm gonna try Ice. I've seen it in parts stores. Thanks for the suggestion.

I fill one of the rooms garbage cans with water and use a washcloth and dry it off with a towel. As long as it's not completely filthy, it works well for me.
