Ride suggestion please..Indiana to Tennessee
May be the wrong place to post, but this is where I follow threads the most, so here goes.
Looking at taking off with the wife next Friday morning early on my 09 SG and making a nice leisure weekend ride. Would be leaving North Vernon Indiana 47265 which is about 50 miles south of Indy, 50 miles North of Louisville, and 50 miles west of Cincinnati. Would like to ride somewhere Friday, cheap place to stay Friday night, ride saturday, cheap place sat night, head back slowly on Sunday.
Have been to the dragon before, and also road the Cherahola Skyway before and liked it down in that area.
Looking for suggestions on routes, roads, cheap places to stay etc to make a big loop. Thru KY somehow, maybe into Tenn and /or SC..maybe West Virginia...??? Who knows.
If anyone around my area can recommend a ride that would be nice and scenic, that would be great. Looking for anything new and exciting!
Thanks guys!

Here's one for you. Head toward Richmond and get on 40east through Ohio to Zanesville. Go south out of Zanesville on Rt 60, to McConnelsville. Take 376 and 266 as they loop you around back to 60, good scenery and twisty roads, Big Bottom State Park, etc. When you get back on 60, go south to Marietta, hit 7 west and plan your return from there. There are lots of great roads in SE Ohio (555 is another good one)...lots of great scenery...and most all of the small towns will have a cheap motel. Have fun and be safe!
