Cams first. If you get the itch for even more power then displacement. Damn, I have that itch!

Which will produce the most power, changing cams with out doing a big bore install, or doing a big bore install with out doing cams, and just to make it interesting what about with and with out a stage 1?

Thanks
Terry
I did a stage 1 with a Racetuner and a HQ500 cam in my 96 and got 90 HP and 93 Torq, it runs real well and cost way less and has no more heat and no hard starting like 103 can have, matter of fact it has less heat and starts better (no band on startup anymore).
I am only going to port a set of heads and put in a set of .018 head gaskets and that's going to be it until the engine wares out.

Thanks again for the replys.
Ok so now another question, I know my bike has a stage 1, but for what ever reason it has stock pipes, wondering if the original owner took the free flows with him, anyway ok it is a 99 RKC, I have two friends with I think 04 peace officers addition, anyway one is a Road King bone stock, the other is an electorglide classic with a big bore kit, I can walk away from the stock Road king, but the one with the Big bore kit can pull away from me after the end of second gear, yes we did a drag race to see if we could tell the difference, so would a stage one and the lower gearing of the 99 make that much of a difference over the 04 stock?
Also is there an easy way to check and see if you have stock cams or not?
Thanks again
Terry
