There needs to be some negative feedback left for this person.

Glad to hear, thanks for the heads up. That whole ebay thing worries me, I tend to stay away from it. Most of the time it seems to end up for me that by the time I wait to the end, I could have just bought it from a regular retailer.

I love ebay, there's lots of bargains to be had, but you have to know what you're buying. I've bought and sold on ebay for over eleven years. Cheap stuff and high ticket items alike. I've seen lots of bogus stuff, most of which gets flushed out by sharp eyed buyers who are good about reporting bad sellers. In all that time, I've only had one bad ebay experience, and that was with a fellow biker who knowingly stiffed me for about a hundred bucks on a worthless piece. Fortunately, paypal got all my money back.

The paperwork inside the packaging shows 'chrome' but they don't looked chromed to me.

On eBay, a person can be a 'male' or 'female' and be anyone they want, including 'gee, I don't know...'; no way I would accept the explaination that 'I'm a woman' and 'don't know much about the parts. The seller is completely responsible for their listing and this eBay seller should be reported; if you don't know what you're selling, then you should say just that. Not that I believe her explaination, with 2,190 transactions and 504 of those just in the last 12 months / averaging 42 per month

Just use the "report item" link with the little flag on the right side of the page.
If it is listed as "new" and you tell them that the item is used, ebay will pull the listing.
At least that has been my experience in the past.

Looks like the levers may have been re-listed. Buyers beware. She listed them as chrome in the title.

That's nothing new or unusual, people buy junk on yard sales or swap meets all the time that are old parts in the original box and advertise it as what the box says it is. I've been buying off Ebay for years and have seen that 100's of times. Some of the people probably are dishonest but most just don't have a clue as to what they actually have in the box.

Chrome in the title, but in the description in red font

Harley Davidson Touring Chrome Levers these were the stock ones that came on the new bike, and he replaced them other ones that were in this plastic case,so the part number and stuff listed on the plastic container is not whats in it, still look great
Mostly "her" fault, but still.... Be sure to COMPLETELY READ the listing.
