I hope someone can help. I have a 95 Ultra and the radio started hissing yesterday, from both rear and the right front speakers. No noise from the front left. It will hiss when the radio is on or off, in accessory mode. At times I don't hear the radio from the rear speakers, sometimes I do. The hiss will go away if the CB on. I have spoken to the Biketronics techs who said the rear amp is most likely the culprit. I suppose an easy diagnosis is to unplug the power leading to that amp to see if the hiss goes away. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
