Default Riding with Idiots

I'm sure you all have that guy in your group that makes you more nervous when he rides with your group. Thought i'd share a story of how an idiot almost got me killed this weekend.

I have to start this by saying that this guy is one of those guys that is more concerned with what song is on his radio and who is looking at him than what is happening on the road ahead of him. so i usually try to lead and let him follow.

We were riding north on the 5 freeway in Orance County and traffic started to back up. We began cutting traffic between the carpool lane and the lane next to it. all of a sudden I see this guy on the left side of the carpool lane splitting between the cars and a concrete wall. a car sees him and gives him some room to pass, and cuts me off. I had to lock up the rear, and the OL starts yelling at me cuz she didn't see dipshit in the other lane.

I could have killed him. I had to share that with you guys cuz it was driving me crazy and i know you guys know exactly what i'm talking about.

I swear every group has at least one "special Ed" rider...
Some should be riding a wheelchair or WILL be soon

Makes riding alone look good

That is why I rarely group ride. I enjoy living. Nice ride BTW.

There you have it. That's why my wife and I prefer to ride alone.

In every group there always seems to be one.
I've been told if you don't know who it is ........ it's you.

Glad to see he didn't mess up your vibrato ........

Someone told me a long time ago that there's "always one in every group" and if you find a group that there's not one, look in the mirror....it might be you!!
Myself, I like to ride alone or at least a few hundred yards away....But that's just me???

First I wouldn't ride with him again but if I did he'd be in front because I watched one of my friends get rear ended by a guy who wasn't paying attention and didn't see my buddy signal to turn before I knew it both guys are laying on the ground.

Just my .02 cents!

Sweet looking Scoot -
I mostly ride alone (with my honey packn) . . .

Too many nutcases in the cars; not to mention the amateurs on the bikes . . good to hear no one was hurt . . . this time . . .
