17 to 18K is 1/2 year to me. I can only get 13k max out of a MC tire and 21K out of a CT. It adds up to about $300 per year more for a motorcycle tire.

But for me, it's not the money. The CT has better traction, a softer ride and a higher load rating. Plus I run a runflat with added peace of mind in case of a blowout.

I can afford the extra $300 per year to run a MT, but I prefer a CT.
