Thanks everyone. It still baffles me as to why the light wouldn't work. The bulb was good and the prongs were making contact.

I'll let you all know what Wally says about this.

05 Ultra - my wally gets up to 230 always no matter what the ambient temp is - Mobil 1 V Twin. Never gone any higher even at 100F in traffic. Find this strange????

Also does take about 10-20 minutes before gauge starts reading - heating up the oil???
