Default 2011 Ultra Limited Test Ride

Oh man... what can I say... it was sweet, soft, plush, comfortable. We rode over some pretty beat up streets that I have ridden my RK on and I really noticed how the UL soaked up the vibration and bumps. The seat was very comfy and had great back support even without an aftermarket back rest. The bike didn't seem as heavy as I expected and it was just as responsive as my 2010 RK. I am sure the 103 motor had a lot to do with that.

Having said that, this was the first time riding a full dresser and being on the last ride of the day, the bike was pretty heated up and i could feel the heat coming off the headers. Now, I really, really liked the ride but have the lower faring blocked the wind and kept the heat on left leg the entire ride. Not fun.

So any of you guys riding the full dresser find a way to alleviate that heat?

This may very well replace the BMW K1200LT as my dream bike.

Pipes, PC III, remove the adjustable part of the lower fairing, heat deflectors and MOST importantly....don't stop riding. Air flow is a good thing.

a proper tune and conventional style true duals where there is one exhaust on each side of the bike.

I don't believe they make a PC-3 for '09-'11s.
But, an e-tune, Stage 1 A/C & dual exhaust will cool it down.

Dynojet now has a PCV for the later models. Essentially does the same thing as the PC111 with more options.
