Default Input on Kuryakyn's 3-Pouch Fairing Bag?

I'm looking at which fairing pouch set-up will work best w/my 4" windshield on the FLHT batwing. T-Bag's contoured 3-pocket pouch is too big, but I haven't seen one of these somewhat smaller Kuryakyn 3-pouch fairing bags installed. Input?
Thanks.

I was looking at the same pouch for my SG. I am surprised nobody replied. I guess everybody has the T-bags. Unfortunately, there are a lot of users who have experienced a rip in the T-bags. If anyone is using these Kury, please let me know if they are better or worse than the T-bags. Thanks...

Thanks for the reply. Yep, the T-Bags are pretty popular although they evidently tend to crack. However, it sounds like T-Bags return policy is strong. Hope you get more of a response than I did!

Default Kury windshield bag

I was looking for the T-bags windshield bag at Biketoberfest. Everyone was out of stock - I guess the demand was more than T-bags expected. I saw the Kury bag at JP and the Kury tent. It's way big. Probably fine for some but too big for me. It's made of a woven nylon fabric. I'd have to be concerned for fading if your bike is outside much. I recommend you see the Kury bag in person before you decide to buy...

Thanks Bob. It seems we might as well stick with the T-bags. They have a good return policy.

The complaints I've heard about the T-Bags one is they are really small and people have trouble getting a pair of sunglasses in them and the side pouches everything collects in the corners.

It does look good though.

Default Hated it..

I bought the Kuryakyn 3 pouch and had nothing but trouble...the magnets aren't strong enough and the flaps open on the highway...I tried putting velcro on but that got real messy, real fast..they're pretty bad

Ok I will chime in.I have had about every fairing bag you can buy.I tried the T-bag one.Too stiff, and the corner bags are basically unusuable. The Kuryakyn was IMHO,the worst and cheapest made.Yes the middle is bigger than most, but like the above poster stated. The magnets suck, and yes over time your lids will flap in the wind.I tried the new HD bag,and it was ok,but I didn't like the pop off side bag. After going through all these bags,I went back to the good ol original HD 3 bag.It might not be the prettiest, but it has plenty of space, and the velcro closes securely.

I'm happy with the tbag- you gotta figure what to put in the outer pockets, they are small and an odd shape - I put my ipod wiring and adapter in one side. A small cloth pouch in the other allows me to fill it with change for tolls. middle gets ipod or phone. chapstick and sunscreen

the tbag can scuff the top of the dash, I lined the top of my dash with loop velcro, cut to contour.
I can always remove the adhesive, scuffs, not so easy.

the tbag does look better than some of the other products.

the harley bags will marr the crap out of the inside of your windshield.

I have no complaints with the HD two-pouch bag. Worked great with stock (4") windshield, and contrary to all reports, it WILL work (with some scrunching) on my 6.5" KW Flare windshield.
