Default Brake Lights

Wife & I went for our 1st night ride on our new 2010 SG and noticed that the brake lights were not working; couldn't tell if they were constant on or not. But there was no response by the lights regardless are what lever was depressed. Are the brake light on a seperate circuit? In other words, is there a seperate fuse soley for the brake lights?

Brake 15A and ACC 15A. Do you have ABS or not?

Have you changed the grips? If so you may have broken the small plastic brake switch in the break lever.

Remove the lens and see if both filiments are lit? Could be simply a faullty return spring on a lever (front or back?).
