Default compression PSI

Do any of you folks know about what PSI a compression test should read on a 95'' . My readings are 160 psi on each jug. Does that sound right ? on a stock 88 the psi is 90 ,at least thats what the manual says.

It would depend what your cam and static compression combine to result in.

160 sounds healthy to me. Are both cyls similar?

Default Static Compression

It's been 25+ years since I've worked around air-cooled [aircraft] engines. 160# is excellent compression, & would be regarded as 'good' or "serviceable" down to 80# or so.

The real issue is not the total compression, but whether the 2 jugs are within 7-10 pounds of each other. I recall we rebuilt our individual aircraft engines when the compression dropped below 70 pounds or if the jugs were not within 10 lbs of each other.

Default my 103 with 255 cams compression

I took compression readings after I had broke the motor in.
197 psi in both cylinders. wish I would have taken reading of my stock motor before I tore it down for the 103 kit.
