Default UPS man just delivered the HQ113ST kit!

Finally got the HQ 113 kit today. For those that are interested, it took 1 day shy of 10 weeks to get the kit, but everything arrived in tact. Every things ready to go, but I just have to chase some threads in the heads and have at putting it together. The build will include an SE 6 speed and every chrome do dad that can go in between. I know a thread like this is useless without pics, so I am including some. Any tips, tricks, and don't forgets are welcome. Wish me luck.

BTW: Thanks to PhilM for the advice so far.

Congrats, about the only thing I can say is lose the PCIII and do the kit justice. Have it properly tuned.

Got the SEPST(couldn't find a SERT) and am going to have it tuned by PhilM's guy in dallas. It will give me a chance to see some ond friends. Didn't want to break the camera taking a pic of my ugly mug!

How did you stand waiting 10 weeks? I would have been out of my mind in that amount of time.

Looks like a great project, should be loads of fun once you have it back together.

Actually, it was only the last two weeks that were the hardest. I planned for 8 weeks and paced myself with the disassembly and cleaning of the parts and bolts that were removed. I also had to send the cases and crank off which took about 3 weeks to get back. At 8 weeks I was ready for the top end to arrive. I'll take my time assembling as well, double checking everything as I go. It's hot down here anyway and I usually don't ride the Harley during the really hot summer months. We are lucky that our riding season is year around.
