Color-Matched Hard Bags for '09 RKC
#12
Look at the ultra limited paint scheme. That's the style I had my painter match for my hard bags. Not like the RK bags nor like the other e-glide bags.
I started with a set of RKC tins.

Here's what "a little more white" might look like. Probably not your paint scheme but just for an idea. Similar to Boogaloo's lines
Check the pics in my albums. I'll load up a few fresh ones.
Have you tried a turquoise lid and a white bag?
What about a set of "Bubble Bags"? Dont know if they fit with the shocks. http://www.crescentmooncycles.com/ht...dson_bags.html
BTW cbears. Love 'em. I didn't notice they were aftermarket. I thought you has 3 cream pinstripes at first. Looks killer

Yeah, Really...
...is there any law that says that the lines separating the colors must be strictly horizontal?
Thanks to everybody helping me out with ideas.
There was some movie a few years back and somebody was selling a car or something and all they showed various color choices with the touch of a finger. Wish it was that easy.
BTW Razorback, love that turquoise '55 and your bike in the same pic. Legendary is the word regarding the styling. All the technology of today's vehicles sacrifices the almost sacred style of that "Route 66" era. You have to restore cars or own a Harley, I guess, to showcase a glimpse of the beauty that just naturally found its way into the soul of these vehicles.

Didn't save the pictures and don't recall the posters name, but he repainted the lids on his fire red pearl/black EG Classic to eliminate the two-tone paint/pin stripe, and matched the side covers with two-tone paint and it looked great. Can't recall if he color-matched the bag latches or not, but that's worth considering.
Good luck with your project.
