Yes, in a New York minute.
PITA to keep clean,
PITA to keep the swirl marks out,
PITA, PITA, PITA, but I bought her to ride, not showcase.

My bike is like the misses, she ain't there to spit and polish and keep on a mantle. She's there to ride and ride hard.

Wait, did I say that out loud? I'm in deep doo-doo now!

Absolutely! A dirty machine means a happy rider, but, I do keep mine clean. I love my black Ultra and will never part with it.

Had a Vivid Black Sportster and would not hesitate to buy it again. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't know a color that doesn't show a scratch. I like some other colors but as was said "vivid black is old school" (I'm OK with that) and it's faster.

Yes, you can't see swirls running down the highway.

Just another thought....... All you that are concerned about a "Clean" bike and I mean
a CLEAN bike..... Black is the ONLY color to have....... Any color, gets dirty, dusty, swirls, THE SAME.... you can just see it better on Black. So, whats the point..... You can keep a black bike CLEANER, because you can see the dirt, dust, swirls better..... Dont be fooled, all the colored bike are just as dirty, dusty, and swirly as my black bike. So a black bike is basically cleaner than most colored bike, just because we can see the dirt and clean it and you can't........ Man,,,, this is a slow night for HDForum...... whew.... hdman

When I was shopping for my FLHRSI in the spring I was hoping to find a black one. My 08 FLHR was blue and I just could not find any designs for flames and sripes that I thought would look good. Saw dozens that I liked on black. I may get flack for this, but my bikes get waxed once a year, and S100 every time they get dusty, no swirls or fine scratches..

They make other colors than black ? Who the hell would want any other color, there is nothing better than black and chrome !

Hope you get what ever color you like the most.
